Location

Moqui Point Retreat Center

Located in the "Four Corners" area near Cortez, Colorado, Moqui Point is on a high-desert, 26-acre farm in McElmo Canyon, and lies at the foot of Sleeping Ute Mountain. This hallowed ground has beautiful red rock bluffs, a rambling creek, ancient Anasazi ruins, sagebrush, organic fruit orchards and nearby trails to hike.

The Cortez airport is a 20-minute drive from our retreat center. Great Lakes Airline provides services between Cortez and Denver. Other airports available within an hour and a quarter's drive are Durango, Colorado and Farmington, New Mexico.  Albuquerque, New Mexico, has the nearest large city airport, a four hour drive from Cortez.

Rental cars are available at all four airports and a taxi is available at the Cortez airport.

Nearby attractions
Mesa Verde with its amazing cliff dwellings, Hovenweep (Ancient Puebloan dwellings), The Anasazi Heritage Center, Chaco Canyon, Telluride for skiing, Ouray (Colorado's "Little Switzerland" for skiing, ice climbing and hot springs soaking) and Durango (for shopping and hot springs).

We're also within a day's drive from National Parks like Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches and Canyonlands. There are also the fascinating southwestern towns of Taos, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and Ute, Navajo, Pueblo and Hopi tribal areas within four to six hours' drive.
